Tualatin is fortunate to have a network of organizations that provide different resources to community members.

The list below is not all encompassing, but it does include services we hear requests for on a regular basis.

Clothing and Furniture

Caring Closet: Provides clothes, hygiene products, and emergency bedding to youth in the Tigard-Tualatin School District. Located at Templeton Elementary School (9550 SW Murdock St, Tigard, OR 97224).

Community Warehouse: Provides furniture. Located in various locations, including Tigard (9806 SW Tigard St, Tigard, OR 97223). Appointments required.

Dressed to Dream: Partnership between Tualatin Together, the Tigard-Tualatin School District, and Rolling Hills Community Church that provides attire to students for homecoming and prom.

Hope’s Closet: Provides new or gently used clothing to community members in needs. Located at Rolling Hills Community Church (3550 SW Borland Rd, Tualatin, OR 97062).

Food

Juanita Pohl Center Meal Program: Lunch is served every Tuesday and Friday from 12pm – 1pm at the Juanita Pohl Center. Reservations are required in advance and there is a suggested donation of $5.

Tualatin Food Pantry: Located on the lower level of Rolling Hills Community Church (3550 SW Borland Rd, Tualatin, OR 97062). Days and hours vary; view their website for up-to-date information.

Hope’s Table: Dinner served on Monday nights from 5pm – 6:30pm at Rolling Hills Community Church (3550 SW Borland Rd, Tualatin, OR 97062). Dinner is open to everyone in the community.

Packed with Pride: Shopping model food pantry for families in the Tigard-Tualatin School District. Located on the lower level of Christ the King Lutheran Church (11305 SW Bull Mountain Rd, Tigard, OR 97224). Days and hours vary; view their website for up-to-date information.

Tigard-Tualatin Family Resource Center: For youth ages 0 – 18 in the Tigard-Tualatin School District boundary. Program helps families meet their basic needs, access community services, and work to eliminate non-education-related barriers to student success. Contact your school’s Family Partnership Advocate to get connected to services or call (503) 603-1585.

Homeless Shelters and Access Centers

HomePlate Youth Services: For youth ages 12 – 24 experiencing housing instability or in need of extra support such as meals, hygiene supplies, clothing, connections to services, and more. Located at 12685 SW 4th St, Beaverton, OR 97005. Can be reached at (503) 567-6591.

Just Compassion: Adult-only program and services include shelter, case management, outreach, Safe Parking, connections to services, laundry, showers, hot meals, and more. Located at 12280 SW Hall Blvd., Portland, OR 97223 (Tigard). Can be reached at (503) 624-4666.

Family Promise of Tualatin Valley: For families with youth. Programs include shelter, food, case management, housing navigation, and more. Located at 11460 Pacific Hwy W, Tigard, OR 97223. Can be reached at (503) 427-2768.

Good Neighbor Center: For families and youth. Programs include shelter and housing services. Located at 11130 SW Greenburg Rd, Tigard, OR 97223. Can be reached at (503) 443-6084.

Legal

Family Justice Center: Brings together partner agencies in Washington County like the Domestic Violence Resource Center, and Oregon Crime Victims Law Center to offer wrap-around services for survivors, all under one roof.

Legal Aid Services of Oregon: Provides civil legal help to low-income Oregonians through regional offices and specialized statewide hotlines and programs.

Medical

Borland Free Clinic: Free medical care for vulnerable people in the community. Includes primary health, physical therapy, gynecology, and vaccinations. Located at Rolling Hills Community Church (3550 SW Borland Rd, Tualatin, OR 97062).

Utility Assistance

Tualatin Utility Bill Assistance Program: The city funds utility assistance for eligible residential customers of up to $300 per fiscal year. The program is administered by Community Action.
