New to Tualatin

Various community events take place in Tualatin every year, and they’re a great time for all residents—long-term residents, newcomers, and everyone in between! The City of Tualatin has volunteer opportunities for everyone—youth, families, adults, and corporate groups. Our volunteers dedicate over 26,000 hours of service annually, and our community is better for it. Get signed up for an event today. 

The City Council appoints residents to 10 different advisory committees in service areas ranging from planning, budget advisory, and our community vision. If you’re looking for meaningful and impactful ways to advise the City Council apply to join one of these committees. 

Community engagement is highly valued in Tualatin. The City strives to involve and inform residents on decisions that affect our community’s quality of life. There are seven Community Involvement Organizations (CIOs) that represent both residential and commercial districts and are open to all residents.
