Our city is conveniently situated approximately 12 miles south of Portland and 30 miles north of Salem. Residents enjoy an active community, beautiful parks and common spaces, and a local economy with great small businesses.

Setting Up Utilities

Water, Stormwater, and Wastewater

Residential and commercial/industrial addresses in Tualatin can establish utility service for water, stormwater, and wastewater thorough the City of Tualatin. 

The City of Tualatin requires an application to be completed in order to provide services (Municipal Code 3-3.030). An application will be mailed upon request, obtained at the City Offices (18880 SW Martinazzi Avenue) 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, or downloaded here.

Residential or Commercial, please fill out the application and return it to the City directly by email to billing@tualatin.gov or fax to (503) 691-8101. 


Electric, Trash Collection, Internet/Broadband, and Natural Gas

The following utilities are not offered directly by the City but are available through independent partners: 

Trash Collection

Trash collection services are available through Republic Services. More information can be found at their website https://republicservices.com or by calling (503) 682-3900. Addresses in Tualatin are served by Republic Services, but additional information on waste disposal is also available from Metro at https://www.oregonmetro.gov/tools-living/garbage-and-recycling.  

Electric Utility Service

Electricity is provided to Tualatin addresses through PGE (Portland General Electric). You learn more at https://portlandgeneral.com or by calling (800) 542-8818. 

Internet/Broadband Service

Several internet providers serve the Tualatin community. To find out what service is available at your address, please visit https://allconnect.com/internet.  

Natural Gas Service

TriMet serves Tualatin through several bus lines and the WES commuter rail line (running north to Beaverton and Tigard and south to Wilsonville). 

Ride Connection provides also first- and last-mile connections in Tualatin. 

Tualatin straddles two different counties. Most of the city lies in Washington County, but the portion of the city east of I-5 lies in Clackamas County.
