Public Works

You may not think about us all the time, but that’s kind of what we’re aiming for.  We’re constantly working to make your day-to-day life in Tualatin snag free – at least in terms of your infrastructure.  

The Public Works Department manages the day-to-day maintenance of the Tualatin’s built infrastructure and related services – drinking water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, streets, maintenance of city facilities, and maintenance of the fleet that helps us get it all done!  We also manage partnerships for trash and recycling and emergency management, among lots of other program and projects.   

We work closely with most other City departments and divisions, especially Engineering and Parks Maintenance, on a variety of programs and projects.
