Streets

The Streets Division is responsible for keeping Tualatin’s roadways in good repair and in drivable condition!

Year-round, the Streets crew is responsible for maintenance of these roadways and their adjacent bike paths, including patching potholes, installation of new signs, straightening of existing signs, roadside mowing along unimproved drainage ditches, repair of dead-end barricades, and repair of railroad crossing guardrails as required by the Public Utility Commission.

General Maintenance

We maintain a regular maintenance schedule for over 75 miles of Tualatin’s roadways:

  • Streetlight and signal inspections
  • Repainting of roadway striping and markings for legends, crosswalks, stop bars, traffic lane stripes, and no parking zones
  • Pothole patching
  • Installation of new and repair of existing signage
  • Repair of dead-end barricades
  • Roadside mowing along unimproved drainage ditches
  • Street sweeping (monthly, by contract)

We also chat with the community! Questions, thoughts, suggestions? Let us know.
